The Inspector is familiar with more than 95% of all error codes from engine control, gear control, immobilisation systems, roof control, chassis electronics, active and passive safety systems such as ABS, ESP, ASR, braking assistance, airbag, seatbelt retractor etc. as well as comfort systems such as central locking, heating and automatic A/C systems, parking and booster heaters, electric window lifters, multimedia, as well as from many other systems and control units.

Individual data recording
During test drives, the device can check and store current processes without supervision. Permanent recording, sporadic recording or selective recording (snap shot) when faults occur are possible measuring options. Any number of parameters can be pre-set and then evaluated or presented in graph form safely and easily at a PC.

Coding and control unit adaptation
Various settings of the control units and components, e.g. clearing a retrofitted trailer coupling, releasing or service position of the electronic parking brake, activating the daytime running light function, adjustment of the rain sensor, calibrating a steering angle sensor, basic setting of the xenon headlights, teaching of new keys etc. are no longer a problem with the Inspector.

With these three high-quality instruments, the Inspector provides professional visualisation of voltage curves and changes in frequency which are vital for day-to-day work in workshops today.

Activating components (actuator test)
Setting motors, relays and solenoid valves etc. can be activated and diagnosed.

Adaptation
Adaptation values can be reset without any problems following repairs, for example, or the replacement of faulty or worn components.

Simulation
With the integrated signal and frequency generator, voltages can be generated almost infinitely variably on 2 channels up to max. 5 V and frequencies up to 1 kHz. This allows the reactions of the complete electronic control system to be monitored, resulting in a decisive advantage during troubleshooting.

Plug&Play
Following software installation, the device can communicate directly via USB or a serial RS 232 connection cable with PC and printer.

Repair tips
During diagnosis, the inspector provides helpful repair tips for the vehicle being inspected – directly on the display!

Can I buy individual plug adapters or cables separately?
Yes – every individual plug adapter or plug cable has its own part number, which makes it easier to purchase the cables again later if required.

What happens if my device happens to be dropped on the floor?
Thanks to the extremely sturdy casing suitable for workshop use, it is unlikely that the device will be damaged to a serious extent. If damage should occur, however, all the parts can be replaced individually.

Is it possible to record data whilst driving?
Yes – the Inspector can also be used during test drives so that fault messages, e.g. from the Lambda probe, can be read out directly. Then the actual data of the test run can be followed at a PC.

Can the Inspector be used as a mobile diagnosis unit?
Yes – the device has voltage supplied as soon as it is connected to the diagnostic jack.. In the case of older vehicles where the voltage supply does not work through the diagnostic connection, the voltage supply
is provided directly through the battery or the cigarette lighter socket with the aid of the adapter included.

Does the diagnosis device have a multi-lingual menu guide?
Yes – the language can simply be set through the menu.
