We expanded our Jakoparts range by powerful segment conductor alternators.
In contrast to conventional alternators, these have a rectangular conductor for their stator coil. Since the winding density is increased from 45 percent to 70 percent, the SC alternator weighs about 20 percent less and produces 50 percent more electric power than a conventional alternator. Magnetic pulsation (main component of magnetic noise development) is reduced by up to 90 percent by the newly developed circuit. This circuit was created by dividing the stator coil into two parts, producing a phase difference.



SC alternators from Herth+Buss Jakoparts are supplied under the part number group J511... in 100A, 130A or 150A versions depending on the passenger car model. They are currently available for Mazda (J5113072), Toyota (J5112132) and Honda (J5114046). 20 more models will be added in April.
